Is this price per team member or all-in?

Every price on this page is per offshore team member, ex GST. If you need two roles filled on Flex, that's 2 × $449/month. If you're hiring multiple full-timers on Hatch Hire, a discounted rate applies from the second placement onwards, confirmed transparently on your discovery call.

Why not per-hour pricing?

Per-hour pricing punishes you twice. You pay for meter-watching, and you never know what a job will actually cost. Our Flex package is monthly so you can plan. Our Hire placement is one-off so there's no ongoing fee. We compete on value and quality, not on hourly races to the bottom.

What does Hatch Flex include?

Hatch Flex is $449 AUD + GST per month, per offshore team member, for 20 hours of task-based support. You have a primary matched team member within our shared pool. Cancel anytime.

What if I'm using all 20 hours every month?

Two options: top up with another 10 hours for $199 + GST, or graduate to Hatch Hire.

Here's the honest math. Flex at $449/month gives you 20 hours. Hatch Hire at $4,500 one-off plus direct salary (around $750/month for part-time, $1,500 for full-time) gets you 80 to 160 hours of dedicated support every month. If you're consistently maxing your 20 hours, going Hire is cheaper long-term and you get 4× the capacity.

Flex exists for when you're not ready to commit to a dedicated person. If you're using it heavily, you're ready. We'll flag it if we see it in your usage, but you can always make the call yourself.

What happens if the team member isn't a fit?

We replace them. Hatch Hire placements come with a 6-month replacement guarantee. Hatch Flex runs on a shared pool so swaps are instant.

When can my new offshore team member start?

We run two start dates per month so onboarding is batched cleanly and aligned with the Philippines bi-monthly pay cycle.

Hatch Hire and Hatch Flex start on the 1st Monday or 3rd Monday of the month.

On your discovery call we pick the next available date with enough lead time, usually 3 to 4 weeks for a Hire placement or 1 to 2 weeks for Flex. If a date is too tight we offer the one after, never more than ~30 days wait.

Is this legal with recent Fair Work Commission decisions?

Hatch Flex is structured to stay compliant by design. It's shared, task-based, async, and doesn't look or feel like employment. For Hatch Hire, you can run the engagement as a contractor (with proper structure) or add our optional Hatch Compliance EOR at $350/month per team member + GST for Philippines employment administration and payroll support.

Can I scale up or add more team members?

Yes. Stack Flex seats for more hours, or add another Hatch Hire placement whenever you're ready. Multi-placement clients get volume pricing from the second placement onwards.

What roles do you place?

Admin, customer support, bookkeeping, social media, graphic design, video editing, web development, drafting, marketing, project management. If it can be done remotely, we can place it.

What's the turnaround on Flex work?

48 hours standard for most tasks, same day available for urgent work. Your team member works Philippines business hours which overlap your Australian business day.

How do I pay?

Stripe subscription for Hatch Flex monthly. Stripe or bank transfer for Hatch Hire placement fees. For Compliance EOR, one monthly invoice covering payroll, employment costs and the $350 + GST Compliance service fee.
